A Snowgum in Paris

A Snowgum in Paris is an attempt to show how a single species of Australian eucalypt (Eucalyptus pauciflora) could become such a part of the Paris streetscape that it becomes difficult to differentiate it from its surroundings. For this reason John has named each print for the location in which it was “found” as though it was a subspecies of Eucalypt pauciflora e.g pauciflora marais for the image located in the Marais district in the 4th arrondissment.
